Cheraw High School held their annual Career Day on November 29 from 8:40 am until 11:00 am to expose students to a wide range of careers. Chesterfield General Hospital represented careers in Nursing, Pharmacy, Business Management, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Emergency Medicine, and Radiology
Vance Reynolds, CEO of CGH, spoke to a group of 11th and 12th graders about what employers are looking for. His message, "actions today impact the career and success you will have in the future, employers want employees who can make sound, intelligent decisions, who care about themselves and the job they do, and who are honest and hardworking." "We are always interested in participating in educational programs with students in our community and we especially like Career Day. It gives us the chance to share all of the excellent opportunities available in health care today with our employees of tomorrow," states Vance Reynolds.
