CHERAW, SC (DECEMBER 3, 2008) : Chesterfield General Hospital announces the promotion of Kari Snyder, RN, BSN, MSN, to the position of Chief Nursing Officer(CNO). Snyder joined Chesterfield General Hospital in December, 2005, where she held the positions of Director of Medical/Surgical Department and Chief Quality Officer, respectively.
Snyder started her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working in Marietta, OH. She earned her Certificate of Nursing from Washington Technical College in Marietta, OH; Associate degree in Nursing from Hocking College in Nelsonville, OH; and Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Phoenix. Snyder most recently completed her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Phoenix.
Snyder has nursing experience in pediatrics, orthopedics, obstetrics, nursery, emergency, intensive care unit, medical/surgical and rehabilitation. Through increased responsibility and further education Snyder has positioned herself for the responsibilities this new role brings. Snyder and her husband, Steven, live in Cheraw, SC.
