Our respiratory therapy department provides diagnostic testing such as
Oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, mechanic ventilation and deep breathing exercises are also available. Respiratory therapy also offers a smoking cessation program for members of the community.
In 2008, the department earned Quality Respiratory Care Recognition (QRCR) from the American Association for Respiratory Care under a national program aimed at helping patients and families make informed decisions about the quality of respiratory care services available in hospitals. Hospitals earning the QRCR designation ensure patient safety by agreeing to adhere to a strict set of criteria governing their respiratory care services.
